Liner Notes:

These two long unavailable suites finally find their way home into the catalog of works. The pieces that comprise these suites were culled over time from various sketchbooks, sessions and scores (mostly unpublished). This music was assembled initially, in suite form, to provide a musical introduction to accompany the cPress 2022 Interview found only at the main site. Both now, however, reside in the CM catalog as this single recording. I personally chose the separate pieces that make up these suites not only for their sonic qualities but, more importantly, for the range of emotions they convey. From peace to trepidation… from joy to sorrow and introspection… this music serves as a brief journey into my sound world. From the intimacy found in a violin and cello duet to large orchestral landscapes interspersed with colorations taken from a host of vintage synths, it’s my intention this music take you well deep into my canvas of sound. These are my personal mixes as well, and as such, I took great care in positioning them across the stereo field in order to give each listener a widescreen experience. So.. sit back… close your eyes… and let the music take you where she will. Safe travels.
